Your Waxing Pre-Appointment Preparation

Exfoliation leading up to your waxing appointment can help by removing any dead skin cells in the area to be waxed. Dead skin cells tend to clog hair follicles leading to ingrown hairs. If there is ingrown hairs these will not be removed by the wax.

Growing hair to ½ a cm will allow the hair to be grabbed, so don’t shave for as long as it takes you to get to that desired length if possible.

Wear comfortable clothing to your appointment, disposable G Strings and everything else you need to prepare (if you’re running late to the appointment) are supplied for Intimate waxing.

Cleansing Products:

  • asap Clear Skin Body Gel with AHA & BHA
  • Bump eRaiser Zesty Antibacterial Wash 250ml
  • For Intimate waxing areas use Lycon Pinkini Intimate Wash

Exfoliation Products:

  • Milano Exfoliating Mitt
  • asap Revitalising Body Scrub with AHA
  • Pomegranate, Pink Grapefruit, Mango & Guava or Apple & Cranberry Scrubs

Your Waxing Appointment After Care

Your therapist will discuss your after-care treatments, please bring up any issues you may have had in the past as a simple adjustment of products can often eliminate issues.

For Calming and Soothing treatment areas we always recommend:

  • asap Soothing Gel that has a high Aloe Vera component
  • asap revitalising Body Moist with AHA & BHA

Use the following Bump eRaiser products for maintaining healthy skin on your waxed areas and preventing ingrown hairs

  • Concentrated Serum 125ml
  • Cool Splash 125ml (excellent for men) in conjunction with the Zesty Antibacterial wash
  • Medi Paste (for any ingrown hairs)
  • Triple Action Lotion 125ml for maintaining healthy skin

For Intimate waxing areas always use Lycon Pinkini Lightening Serum and Moisturising lotions Daily

For Legs and Larger waxed areas use Pomegranate, Pink Grapefruit, Mango & Guava or Apple & Cranberry Moisturisers
